RAGTIME TO RICHES FESTIVAL!!!
C'MON IN...THE MUSIC'S FINE! The Strauss Performing Arts Center, on the main campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, is the site for the fifth annual Ragtime to Riches Festival, scheduled to take place July 11-12, 2009. Proceeds from this year's festival will go to the "Omaha World-Herald's" Goodfellows program, a program designed to assist needy individuals and families.

Performers
Scheduled to perform at this year's festival: BURNS DAVIS (Lincoln, NE), a pianist-organist who specializes in rags written by contemporary composers; JIM BOSTON (Omaha, NE), a seven-time finalist in the ragtime piano competition at Iowa's Old-Time Country & Bluegrass Festival & Contest.
